*How much will it cost to reach 300hp??
Just got back looking at the Nissan of Japan website. It rates the 350 GT skyline sedan at 272 hp. I think thats about the rating of our G35 sedans.
Just wondering how much would i have to spend to add a good 30 hp at the crank? I'm not interested in any forced induction or Nitros. I've read somewhere that the stillen dual exhaust adds 22 hp. any of you reach 300 hp on your sedans yet?

Crawford Plenum: 500.00 without core
Z intake tube: 80.00
Crawford, BRM or Nismo Headers: 600.00 to 1300.00
High Quality Catback 800.00
Technosquare ECU: 495.00
Those mods should net you around 300 crank hp or right at 250 whp with an MT. With an AT you should see around 240 whp.
The Catback is optional as are the headers.
The catback can be replaced by customized catback for around 300.00, while the headers can be replaced by high flow cats for 500 ish.
So for around 1600.00 to 3200 you can have a little more than the coupe.
and for all the mods listed above plus cams you can get around 260 whp (320 crank hp). throw in a lightened flywheel and a NA motor maxes out around 270 whp. the supercharger starts at 370 whp and mods take it from there.
By then you will have spent ~3000-4000 dollars and a supercharger is only 5000.00-7000.00 making 50-90 horses more.

Re: *How much will it cost to reach 300hp??
Here's my thoughs, from my experiences so far...
I'd probably do it in this order...
1. Crawford plenum
2. Cat pipes and full catback exhaust.
3. Intake (Probably a NISMO CAI)
(Has anyone really gained power on the dyno with a Z pipe?)

Justin can give you guys some good feedback on the BRM headers for the G35 (he had my first set sitting on his desk for a week, haha).
Here's the deal - For $800 stainless or $600 mild steel, you can't beat them. Same exact design as the NISMO's (with some minor quality control changes), and best of all, they're STREET LEGAL. Not always the case with some of the "other" guys out there selling exhaust components...
