Holy f*ck man! Were those rags gasoline-soaked?

Those halogen lights get so damn hot they act like heaters when I work on my cars in the garage during the winter. I bought nice LED trouble lights for safety reasons when working on my car now.

The rags were in a plastic bag didn't even think about how close the light was to them when the wife said it was dinner time....had dinner and started watching Jericho next thing i know the lady next door was banging on my door yelling your garage is on fire. I run out to try and save my girl and open the side door and it was to late. When i opened the door it shot flames 30ft in the air, needless to say i went running

Soory for your loss. Unfortunately life experiences are the best teacher. The Halogen comment shoud be taken seriously INCLUDING Halogen lamps anyone may have in their home. Those things get insanely hot.

They gave you $25,000 for that?!? That's awesome! Put a deposit down on an '07. At least some good came out of this.

Hey Redline, I had to do a double-take on those pics of yours again today. I really feel for you and the car man.

I noticed the oil dipstick lying on top of the engine in one of the pics. I know we all love our cars but, dude, were you still trying to check the engine oil afterwards?
