Help Someone.....please

Hi, I have an 06 sedan 5AT, and I was away from about a week but when I got back it seems as if the car doesn't drive the same at all. It is slower on the accerlation, when i get to a red light it starts to shake and idle, the exhaust sounds completely different, and overall it just seems much slower and kinda drags a bit when i push the accelerator. Any ideas if I'm just crazy or could something be wrong with my car? Anything would be helpful

Thanks in advance...

Coultn't agree more. Take it directly to the dealer and have it looked at.

I think you need to reset the ECU and then drive it hard. We have some smart ECU's, that adjust real well to the way a person drives. And since it just SAT there, your ECU must still be sleeping lol.

Any chance it had less than a half a tank of gas? You might have gotten some gas with "crap" in it and it is clogging the injectors. If the ECU doesn't help I would try some injector cleaner and see how it does.

Not sure about this case but there are quite a few places where the dealership is less than convenient relative to where they are. There is over an hour between the dealerships in Alabama and I'm not sure there even is one in MS so don't assume taking it to the dealer is a good option. And, hey if there is only one dealership somewhat nearby and they are *******s, then it sure wouldn't be amiss to ask on here instead of putting up with them.

I agree that the dealer is your best option. At this point, without getting more information, it could be a number of different things.

Just for fun, I'm gonna say there's some blockage in your exhaust flow. Maybe clogged cats? I'm probably wrong though. Let us know how it goes, GL!

The CEL didn't come on? Sounds like a bad fuel injector (or bad fuel, water in the gas). I experienced that on my old Maxima, and it was a bad fuel injector (replaced under warranty), but it was accompanied by the CEL being on. Any gas odor? If accompanied by gas odor, then it may be air intake issues (e.g. bad MAF sensor). I'm leaning towards injectors though...
