Gurgen, these posts of yours are great... Keep 'em coming!

I'm really anxious to see your dyno results because your N/A mods represent just about all that can be done to a 5AT sedan.

Re: RT Cats and Stillen Exhaust!!!

Thanks Steve, that means alot to me. Let's see what can be done here!!! I am trying to iron out some of the kinks before the dyno, like some weird raspy sounds coming from the right cat (maybe it's defective). I also found out that the crank/cam position sensor recall affects my car (as it was built before July 02 - I did by one of the first g35's). Also, I want to swap in the 1-step colder NGK, iridium spark plugs, stock airbox with a k&n drop-in filter, Z-tube, and get the injectors cleaned!!! And you thought I was done with the mods!!

So, lets iron that out and see, but I may not be that patient and just get the dyno done before the crank/cam sensor swap (but thatt's a maybe anyways)!!! I do intend to put on all the other final touched listed here before the dyno, but let's see how it goes.

BTW: Steve, did we meet/talk at the last LA meet or do you know me from the forums alone? Sorry if I did and do not remember - I have a TERRIBLE memory with names and faces, nothing personal.

Gurgen, I just know you from the forums. I live out here in North Carolina--but I gotta tell you that you SoCal guys have it made: perfect weather for the G35, Technosquare and Performance Nissan in your backyard, and LOTS of fellow enthusiasts with which to gather. I'm jealous.

Would it be irresponsible of me to move my family of 5 clear across the country with no tangible job prospects in hand just because of the car I own??

but you forget about the outrageous laws, cops with unmarked police cars with tints and sirens on the inside, and helicoptor patrols almost all the time monitoring the highways constantly.

Zimbo, I am with you my man - this paradize is truly unique to socal. I ahve recently started school in San Francisco, and I dread/hate/cannot stand the freaking city. Certainly not a car-lovers place to live - no place to let it stretch its legs!

Nuttiprof is right too, it's a too edge sword - with the hurtful edge being even more piercing in S.F.

Damn it, I just dream of comign back to L.A. the minute I drive into my dreaded parking spot in a 6-car apartment garage, for which I am paying $180/month!!!!

I am sure this concept is foreign to you in NC.

Indeed it is. My 3500 sq foot house with 3 car garage probably costs less than your rent

Still, San Diego sure does sound nice now that I'm a G owner.

I am sure of it. I am paying $1200 for a 10'x16' studio + kitchen/closet, in a building built in 1948.
