Factory Alarm

So I was at a party earlier tonight when I heard my car alarm go off. I ran outside and three @$$ holes ran off and got in a car and drove off. I did some searching and found that having the doors or trunk opened would set off the alarm. I had locked my car and the windows were up.

Does anyone have anyother ideas of how they might have set off the alarm?

is yoru alarm all factory or do you have shock sensors attached to the factory alarm. I am thinkin they probably tried to pop the hood which would require the windows to be open. I don't know what year G35 sedan you have but if your alarm is armed, you can't open your trunk from inside the car, you can only open it with the key fob.

It's an 05 and as far as I know everthing is stock. I thought whenever you locked the doors it automatically armed the alarm. Is this not the case? I would imagine that they would have had to pry open whatever they opened because I know the windows were up and the doors were locked.

so they prob pooped the hood and when the alarm went off because of the hood sensor, they closed the hood and ran.
jacking up the car doesnt set off alarm either. so becareful of your wheels.
they WILL BE BACK. its just a matter of time.. so be vigilant .

Don't know how they set off your stock alarm, since we don't have shock sensors they had to have messed with something. Sounds like it's time for you to get a paging alarm.
