just another service question

well i searched and saw a couple of threads on 15k mile service which im 500 miles over. But i looked in the manual and the stuff they say they replace is all basic stuff filters wiper blades etc.

That im not worried on my own but under that it has a huge list of things they check with the car.

For example
Brake pads, Rotors.. Transmission fluid and brake lines and cable lines and axle and suspension..

I dont mind doing all the filter changes and little stuff on my own but when i saw the list i was thinking maybe i need to bring it in because i dont no how to check suspension or exhaust system or steering linkage ball points

What is all your opinions do you all think this is all necessary stuff to have checked at 15k miles or just do it myself and put in some nice K&N filters

I would do everything you can yourself and have the dealer check the rest.

15K service is mostly visual other than oil change and switching the wiper blades sears and firestone does a lot of that stuff when you get an oil change you can actually just ask them to check those things out and they'll tell you if you have a problem and save yourself 200-300 dollars.
