I tested drive 330i ZHP today and I can tell you This is by far the most fun sport sedan that I have ever driven. very smooth clutch and shifter.

Proformance package, it is another great value offered by BMW giving you approximately 10hp for 8-10 grand. besides from the value, i do have to agree it must be one fun ride.

Wouldn't it just be cheaper to put 2 or 3 of those 5hp increase honda decals on it? But seriously guy, I hope that is a HUGE exaggeration!

 

Isn't that the package that the M gets without the M motor?

Good for you. Now go buy an over priced BMW and leave us alone. You can sign up at a BMW board and brag about how lovely your BMW is. I am not trying to be an A$$ but most of your posts talk about how great the BMW 330i is over the G35. Your basing all of your opinions on 15 minutes of test drives. A comparibly equipped 330i runs about $47.5K which is about 12K more than a G35. What are you truly getting for that extra 12K? The 330i has less HP less torque and less interior and trunk space. Why pay more and get less?

That is not an exaggeration that 330 performance package has 10 hp more because i dont think regular 330 sedan could keep up with my friend's G35coupe 6MT till 120 then finally the coupe started to pull away from it. And trust me my friend was in the right gear.

Sorry about the false info it apears to be $3900 for the proformance package which will put a 330i over the 40k msrp without any other options.

 

Don't forget the 330ZHP also has better gearing over the 330, too not just 10 more HP. Yes, they are great cars and I think it would beat a G35 6MT but not by much. I wouldn't pay the extra $$ though.

 

I doubt it would beat a 6mt G35. BMW lists the manual 330i as 6.4 to 60. An auto G35 could take it. Even with the extra 10 horsey, it won't make much difference

BMW gears their car to be great to sixty then they run out of poop after that. The 330 is also electronically limitied to 128. The G35 is at 145. While I have never gone that fast in my G, it's nice to know you can.
