Blacked Out/Halo/Projector Conversion

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll answer a couple of the questions. I didn't do quads because of a $$ issue. I just bought my first house right in the middle of this project, which sucked alot of $$ out of me. That is also the same reason I went TSX vs. S2K. The output is great. I have Philips Ultinons in there as well. I absolutely love the projectors vs. the standard lights. Amazing, especially w/the Ultinons.
A word to anyone installing halos. First, DO NOT extend the wires from the inverter to the actual halo. I did this so I could mount the inverters in a particular spot. I used heavier gauge wire and soldered all connections. First problem I had was that the bottom ones wouldn't light up all the way, now my top ones just went out because the wires burnt up. After a little research, I found that most people have the same problems when increasing the length of those wires.
I wired the halos up using a relay. I spliced into the cigarette lighter on the drivers side, put a switch under the dash, and ran it over to a relay in the battery compartment. This way, the halos always come on when in ACC or ON, but I can turn them off during that time if I want. I also don't have to worry about leaving them on by accident, because they turn off when the car goes off.
The shroud is a metal chrome 2" toilet flange over 3" abs pipe, and attached to 1/8" abs sheet. I painted it all black to match the rest of the headlight fixture. The D2S wiring is all the same, the only change I had to make was to splice a different female connecter on for the ground. Overall, it came out great, with the exception of the problems I am having with the halos. I personally think it looks factory quality, even up close. When the halos were working, it looked sick. I am waiting to get higher powered inverters from AAC. Jason has been very helpful during this process.

thanks for the info! I just recieved my abs sheets in the mail on saturday and I also have those flanges. I bought them when I first did the project but couldn't come up with a way to make them look the way I wanted. Great job!
One more thing what did you use to cut your abs for the circle and just in general?
