Quote: No, I meant Lexus GS300's...I haven't seen a G35 with Q45 projectors yet. Yes I would have to give up my fogs.......Is it worth it or can I use it as my driving lights?

I'm planning on going with TL projectors up top and Q45 gatlin projectors in the fogs when i do my retro.

Will the TL's fit up top??? Those are huge and require a lot of space from what I read...but could be wrong!

When are you planning on the Q45 projectors? I'd really like to see how they would look like. Any artists willing to photoshop Q45 projectors on the bottom half of the headlights?

Quote: It's currently in the shop....had some door dings on the left rear passenger door so I just decided to shave the moldings. I'm thinking about retrofitting Q45 headlight projectors. What do you guys think? I've seen a couple GS's that did it.
Wow, those pics just got me very interested in doing the same. I basically have that same car and color. Is that your car? Looks great!

Since the lips are available pre-painted, how much modding is involved? Would it need to be re-painted due to modding? If I could just peel and stick I'm on it. One can wish and dream....

You would have to drill into your nismo bumper and it does come with tape but that can't support the lip on it's own.

I'm still not sure they would fit on the bottom. I went to the dealer and tried to measure, it would be very close. Also they are very expensive and not worth it since they don't have hi/low.

They won't fit. I would have done them. Two sets of TL's were my first plan.

Just do S2k or TSX on top and make them your aux low beams like I did. My TL's are my hi/low now. That way you have a good high beam and can flash people without wearing down your ballasts/igniters.

I'm sorry to say but they do not fit. it's actually about 2.5 inch longer than the nismo front end from one end to the other and even with the four screws and two double sided tape there were still gaps between the nismo bumper and the lip. I had a shop cut it up and they did a great job in shortening it and eliminating all gaps.

Too bad, but it seems you got it done very nicely. Perhaps heating it up can make it easier to form. How much did they charge you to customize it?

Some other guy that got it to fit as well actually did heat it to form it. Install and modification was $100. No painting was required

Thanks, good 2 know. 100 bucks is reasonable. I'm not sure a body shop here will be that cheap. I'm surprised the paint survived.

What do you guys think: if I got the lip in black and had the side sill and rear lip painted black to match as well? Would that look ok or like $h!te? Any photochoppers out there that have too much time on their hands? I've got a DG just like the pics.

Hmm I think it would look okay but with the lip and the nismo bumper I think you need a more aggressive side sill to pull it all together or else it's going to look like a skinny chick with huge ***** and no a$$ or hips... not bad...but far from perfect!
