Suspension Wear?

Suspension Wear?
I have an 03 non-sport sedan 50K miles and the suspension has gotten very loud and comfortable. What is the typically life of our suspension? I don't want to go to the dealer and be charged an arm and a leg; What part of the suspension typically needs to be replaced so get the ride back?
I am not even going to ask for suggestions on what suspension part to buy so I dont get flamed by the "search" ***** on this forum.

Ill be honest i just switched out my OEM suspension at 60k, granted the stock suspension was making a little bit more noise than it was originally, it was still in good condition.
If not abused our suspension can easily go above 60 and 70k miles, and chances are more, im sure it all depends on your driving.

im telling you, our control arms are KNOWN to break. While there isn't a TSB, the dealer at my place knew right away what the problem was and said it happens to almost all G35s. Apparently the new control arms they're installing are new and improved... I'm not stupid enough to fully believe that, but we'll see how long they last
go ahead and do a search on suspension clunking; control arms... I found a crapload of threads.
