I am wondering the same thing. I'm also a bit of a noob so, when they say Ballasts not included; what does that mean exactly? Do I need them?

you can use your old ballasts. they're the black parts with wires that unplug on the back of the headlight.

ok, so basically these projectors look like a piece of glass that goes over my bulbs? Is that how a projector works? it magnifies the light? Please excuse my complete noobishisms, I can repay any knowledge you impart to me in trade with my Photoshop skills

You'll need to get new bulbs for the projectors (D2S) . The ones in the G are for reflective housing. Go to hidplanet.com they can answer all your HID questions.

TSX and S2000 projectors are the most used for the top to replace the stock reflector HID's. You can fit almost any projector in the fog though. TL, Q45, E55, FX...

I'm still not sure if Q45 projectors will fit on the bottom.

im suprised infiniti didnt install sedan projectors. I guess you cant have everything. Didnt the 05-06 coupes come with projectors and if so what about retrofiting those into the sedan?

The 06 coupe does (not the 03-05), but since those lights are still so new, it would be difficult to get them at a good enough price to rip them apart and try to get the projectors into our housings. Remember the coupe and sedan have 2 different housings.

The coupe projectors are not as good as the other options so I would stick with TL (bi-xenon), S2k or TSX.

If you are on a budget I would just do the low beams with S2k or TSX projectors on the top. Both are only low beams. If you want high/low do TL projectors on the bottom and leave the top. The best option without major mods to the projectors themselves is to do S2k on the top and TL on the bottom.

Here are mine:
