Plenum Spacer or Sniper Scope?

So I want to buy something for one of my new toys but I'm torn between the two. Do I buy a 1/2" plenum spacer for the G (first mod) or do I buy a sniper scope for the AK47 H-Bar(also first mod)? Both are the same price, I'll eventually get both, the spacer I would obviously get use out of everyday, but the scope would be an immediate all day fun at the range gift to myself. What do you guys think?

It really depends on which scope... if it has a piece of radioactive isotope tritium in there, then I'd say go for the scope!

Dude tritium is so over rated these days, and besides it takes like 3 weeks to ship! The scope does have a range finder and quick correction feature to rezero it after removing it and putting it back on, pretty sick. Range up to 1000 yards but that's real tough with a 7.62 unless you're in some sort of vacuum.

Sorry man I'm keeping it forever, passing it down to my son, my son's son, and if he only has girls maybe skip a generation and give it to his grandson. I got it brand new in box on Saturday, never fired, and I gotta say it was a great day at the range. The rifle, an extra 40 round mag, 1000 rounds of 7.62, taxes and transfer were $660 OTD, unbelievable steal! You guys should get em while you can, when Bush leaves office I bet they triple in price and disappear from the shelves.

How do I post a video on here? I have a good bump firing one from Saturday.

Tritium is a isotope of Hydrogen... How will that stay in a scope? Hydrogen gas won't stay in anything for long if there is even the slightest crevis to leak through.

Are you sure it isn't some other isotope? Barium?

PS "If" it came down to a AK or spacer, I'd say AK for sure.

Scope?...Hmmmm... that depends on what kind of shooting you do.
If you like the challenge of long range target shooting or targeting squirls/varmints then yes.
If you get a kick out of the destruction and mayhem caused by spraying TV's, broken down cars and stuff like that, a scope won't add much to the fun factor.

Damn those do look nice, real pricy though. The one I'm looking at is $250, and I generally go to the range on bright sunny days anyway. To post a video on here you need a third party hosting site don't you? I've never tried, any quick easy way?
