My Tail light idea

K, before i go on, ill say this, i swear to god f any of you steal my idea i will hunt you down like the dog you are, you will have 6'4" 300 LBS of jealous , envious ,angry former div 1 offensive lineman on your *** trying to make a deal for your tails :P:P:P

k so anyway, i wanna tint the whole tails with a single coat of VHT, then re tint areas arounf the lights and reflectors a couple shades darker to give em an AMG look, im thiking this should look pretty slick on an OB car. im thinkin gvht because id rather nto put 2 layers of overlay on the tails. alhto it may also be an option, wish i was any good at PS so i could put up som epics of what i have in mind.

someone posted a pic of their tails, im thinking of the same thing, only with the lens' tinted a shade, not much. but buffed beyond belief

So basically your stealing someone else's idea, changing them slightly and calling it your idea? Very original...

but still.. nobody can steal YOUR idea if it has already been done, hence, not your idea.

looks good. I agree it should look better on an OB car.... wonder how it would look on a 05 or 06 tail

LOL, why you gotta **** in my cornflakes?

LOL, all kidding aside I love what the guy whose pic i posted did, i just wanna improve on the idea, my concern is tinting it light enough on the first and only coat, i dont wanna go too dark, i wonder if layering overlays would work and how it would look, im guessing id have to order 2 sets of 3/10 overlays and cut the second one the way i want it to look with the cut outs around the actual lights and reflectors. it should look pretty cool on an OB sedan tho. if i paint it i dont want any ridges so id have to clear it afterwards, wither way i want a GLOSS finish.

Maybe i should have listed this thread "BAT!...if you build it, they will come!"

but in all seriousness your the man who would know whether thisis feasable with overlays and what i would require to do it the wayi described.
