Me vs 2 Honda's ......
 

Last night going home from work, got on the high way and I started tailing this grand prix coupe doing about 80mph, I got bored with the no action and pulled pass him, so I'm chilling on my own after slowing down for a minute to 70mph and up comes these two 04 hondas, one was a coupe and the other 4door, they must have been racing each other and saw what i was driving and pulled up next to me so all three of us are now cruising at the same speed, i realize that we keep getting higher in speed when all of a sudden the coupe punched it, then the sedan , so i dropped gear from 6th to 4th, now within 6 sec i was 2 car lengths in front of these guys, by the time i was back in 6th gear it was over the gap just kept on getting bigger, just to sum it up i believe we will have to honda owners wanting ther money back, i let them cruise by me and saw that they were both 6cyls -- it was a good drive home grinnig my a** off.......... they will know better next time. Another thing this was driving in my blizzaks they were lucky i didnt have my GS-D on

However, outcome would be different if you ran into my Accord [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] since you never know who you go against and wether it stock or modded until its over.

Stats: 03-04
6spd Accord V6 (stock) 1/4 mile = 14.5s
5spd auto Accord V6 (stock) - 1/4 = 14.9-15.0

6spd G35 sedan (stock) 1/4 mile = 14.1-14.2s
5spd auto G35 sedan (stock) 1/4 mile = 14.5-14.6s

Friend of mine on 6spd G35 sedan who managed to get 14.1 (1/4) on light rims and sticky tires was telling me how badly he lost at least 7-8 car length to 8psi turbo Accord 6spd (looked stock with light rims and decent tires) and he only heard "PSST" when it was over.

Thats definately sweet, i knew the new Honda V6's were going to be quick, but im glad to see you beat them. What do you mean by GS-D though?

you're right. If it was a 4 banger then its obvious they run upper 15s low 16s (1/4).

Yes they were V6's , its kind of retarded braggin about whooping on accord 4 bangers, unless i hear some Nos pissing all over my hood....

Have you seen prices on V6 Accords? They can easily reach $30k... It's insane.

There's always a bigger fish out there....

I know people with turbo se-r's pushing more power at the front wheels than a well modded G35 will do at the crank, they weigh almost 1000lbs less than a g35, and they paid a lot less for the whole package too. But then again, it's not a G35 and never will be.....
Also, the guys you usually see racing on the streets aren't the truely fast ones either...

Friend of mine in 4 cyl. crazy turbo 97 Accord w/ H22 swap whipped 8 cyl. Corvette Z06 with i/h/e on the street when they lined up at the light. Imagine Z06 face? Im sure vette owner didnt say 'Oh it costs less then my Z06"

Dont understand that statement ,not offended but we sit here and compare a corvette to ferraries and porche that cost over a 100,000, .....its not about pricing its about performance, .....to take it further .....so pretty much you are sayin if i tak it to an srt neon and we were gunning it , i shouldnt call that a good win ............ ??

Win is a win . Good win ohiog.
Last night I whipped AV6 03 as well in my stock G35.
As far as prices only manual Accords V6 seen prices to $27-28K, autos are around $23-24K.

I have to call it an excellent win. Aren't they all, when the other party "starts it" ? I have a non-mod G Sedan, and I tend to drive pretty conservatively..but it never fails that someone in a moded Mitsuibishi (Spider ?), Accord, Jetta, etc (I'm not bashing these cars ! I used to own an Accord and I loved it- just never tried to race in it !)...and usually I let these folks smoke me at a light, but once in a great while I have to respond and beat them.
