I rather have cloth seats but they didn't offer that in 05' (live in texas HOT!!!). I have a 2006 4runner sport and a like the feel and look of the cloth seats which have a unique look to them on the sport model. They are black and would have liked an option like that on the G. Light weight with sport wheels, lsd and sunroof would have been a nice option to have.

I don't like the look of the cloth in his, it just looks cheap compared to my leather coupe seats.

Also I dont think the "base" has Xenon Headlights. I have noticed one particular G in my area that has just regular Halogen lamps. I was always baffled when I saw it but after reading this thread I completely understand.

Dude these are high quality cloth seats. My camera does them no justice. My camera is fairly cheap. I believe it's made out of microfiber. Even though they are cloth it is a very classy looking cloth. From the pipinng to the designs within the seat itself I really like it. As much as I hear ppl complaining about infiniti's leather it makes me laugh to now see ppl forming opinions about somehting that's apparently rare and not only that they haven't seen or sat in the seats. I gurantee from what I've read these seats will support aggressive driving much better than the leather seats. Even so I could care less I live in Atlanta and without remote start I never want leather again in this town.

I remember reading an article, think it was Car and Driver and they said that cloth almost always feels better than leather. Interesting comment I thought as leather is viewed as being better.

I have the non-premium 2003 G35 sedan with halogens. I hate the halogen headlights! How did you change to HIDs?

u got aim?? hit me up i can explain.. AGENT R1CE

but basically i ordered a set of 6000k h1 hids, u take out the headlight by removing the bolts to let the bumper come off, i didnt take it all the way off just let it hang... then theirs 4 bolts one on top where u cans ee when the hood is poppd, and 2 in the front underneatht he headlight and one on the side under the fender... i think theirs a right up for coupes on how to remove the headlights.. use that guide..

once their off, u gotta remove the stock bulb and ur gunna need to make the area in the spin on plastic cap larger so u can fit the hid wires thru... i trimmed it bigger... then put the bulb in and send the wires out.. put the assembly back into the car.. and then u just plug the pos n neg together which go to the ballast then the the wires from ballast to bulbs... mount ur ballast... and do the same to the other side.. and OMG enjoy the FRIGGIN ROAD!!!

I've seen Lexus GS 300 and a BMW 740i (1989-94) with cloth interior and a when I lived in Guam and the seats looked really good in cloth.
