new wheels are on!

my rays lug nuts and hub centric rings are arriving a day later than expected... but as long as FedEx doesn't F up, i should have them in time to swing by the wheel shop before they close today for a swap...

i'll post up some before / after pics






yes, i know my car is dirty.

mounting equipment (rays lugs + hubcentric rings)


bimmer anyone?

some of these have no flash and are a bit blurry since i can't play with the ISO setting






few more coming... yes my car is really dirty. yes i'm a bad photographer and yes my camera isn't that great (4mp canon powershot)

!@$&*@()#* STATUS shipped me the wrong type of hubcentric rings... they're aluminum when i asked specifically for plastic. i'll just have to use them for now. BLAH

!@$*)@#$* fvcking wheel shop said they haven't even started to work on my wheels. WTF i dropped them off on FRIDAY. she said 4pm today.

how much should it cost to move TPMS from one set of wheels to another? discount tire just quoted me 200 WTF?

^^^should be the same as mounting and balancing cuz that's what they have to do after they attach the tpms.


btw...don't sweat the aluminum hub rings. you'll be fine.

sounds about right. they have to dismount the tires off your old wheels and new wheels, band tps or if they fit install them, then remount.
