I'm in Scottsdale/Phoenix/Tempe, our glorious "Valley of the Sun." Although today it might be called "Valley of the Dismal Rain."

I don't need no stinkin' nav! Aside from the fact that it is a rip at $2k extra, my other nickname is "autistic map boy." I much prefer the feel of a real paper map in my hands than some washed-out, hard to see LCD screen in our heavy sunlit environment. Besides, I don't have to have the car on to find my target. Heh.

PS: Chroming the factory rims made no sense financially. The chrome places wanted $850 to chrome my wheels. In essence, they send me a set of chromes, I ship my stock wheels back to them. $700 for the chrome and $150 for shipping (after the credit for the stock wheels when they receive them = $850 out of pocket.

Instead, I went to Discount Tire. For less than $900, they put the chromes on my ride (nice aftermarket ones as well) and I have the factory wheels to sell. Said ebay auction is already up to nearly $300. Even if there were no more bids, net cost to me after sale of the factory wheels is more like $500 total out of pocket. A bargain for chromes if you ask me, and a lot less than the $1k the dealer quoted for factory chromes.
