Can not see in fog with HID

This is the first disappoint I had with my G Sedan in my 3 month of owner ship. I ran into a foggy situation on a cold night when I'm coming home from a family gathering. I was very happy with able to test out my HID and Fog in the medium fog. As soon as I got in the middle of the fog I find myself blind in there due to the reflection from the HID. All I see is the sharp blinding light from my HID. I said to myself what its going on, this never happen to my lame Acura CL Type-S nor my Non-Xenon SUV. I try to turn off the fog and hoping its the problem with fog but its not and I can not turn off the Head light to proceed with just my fog light on. So, I have to slow down like a blindman with a find stick hoping there is not dumb *** walking their dog at this foggy night. Can someone tell me is this a bad lens design or I need to take it back to the dealer to have the head light adjusted?

I think since you have the premium package that you have your headlights set to auto right? Try switching it to just the "On" switch and then turn on the fog lights with the circular switch.

Re: Can not see in fog with HID

I already try that but the only way the Fog will be on is when the low beam is on. The glare from the HID low beam when deflected by the moisture from Fog make me unable to see the road condition infront of me. Not sure is the height level of the high beam need adjustment or just a bad lense design. If this continue to happen then I will have to get myself a pair of PIAA Fog light that can be turn on anytime as I see fit.

Yes, I find it a little weird that you can't just turn the fog's on by themselves, like my old Mustang, hmmmm.

I think the problem is the fog light is too close to lights.
