Hey all - love the forum! I'm about t-minus 3 weeks from purchasing a G35 sedan to replace my '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee as my daily driver. I will be buying used and trying to stay right around $20k. On eBay (the ultimate source of true car-pricing), looks like that will get me into a low-miles '04 basically loaded - almost for sure an automatic.

I've searched quite a bit here (while waiting for my user to become active) and haven't found a good answer to my basic question: If you were buying a used '04 or possibly '05 G sedan, what specific things would you check for, be sure to get, be sure to not get, etc.? Is the AWD version good/bad (daily driver, not concerned about performance driving)?

Only mods I'll ever do will be lowering about 1" and 19's (drooled my way through most of the mods section - very purdy cars). I appreciate any direction y'all can give me!
