OK, so I'm a newbie...what the heck is Skyline???
Thought maybe since it was mentioned all over here, somebody else would ask, but I guess I gotta be the one to look stupid.

Re: Me and my Skyline - Cool Pixs from Nissan

Essentially, Infiniti is like the luxury line for Nissan in America, just as Lexus is for Toyata and Acura for Honda.

Our cars are sold as the Infiniti G35 in America/Canada, but sold as the Nissan Skyline in Japan (and I think Australia too). There are slight differences between the two (decals, rear turn signals, etc) but they're basically the same car.

Some people like the "Skyline" name better, so they rebadge their car to make it look more like the Nissan version.

AHHH, kinda figured it was the Japan version, but couldn't find the specifics.

The SKYLINE badge looks good, but I really like the infinity LOGO. Maybe I will remove the Infiniti lettering and leave just the logo?????

Skyline is the 11th generation of a racing legend in Japan. Do the Google search for "nissan skyline" and see many sites dedicated to this car (aka "our" car).
Edited by 5ATdriver on 01/31/04 11:54 AM.
