Question Pics of sedan w/OEM 18" wheels and spacers?

Hey peeps.

Haven't had any luck searching the forums, so I pose my question to you: has anyone out there got pics of a sedan on OEM wheels with 15mm or 20mm spacers?

Since lowering my sedan with z/coupe sprrings and d-specs, the wussy offset of the OEM wheels has become really evident. Rather than dropping big cash on new wheels, I'd like to just bump the stock wheels out a little bit to get that nice, widened stance and to fill out those wheelwells a bit. That being said, I'd really like to know if spending the money on spacers will give me the visual impact I'm looking for before I do it! (i'm also trying to decide between 15m and 20mm spacers, I figure some pics would definitely help make up my mind)

Anyone?

the fronts are fine and the rear I think a 10mm would be the max!

What are the width and offsets of your stock 18's? If they are 7" like the early and a +40mm, you should be able to do a 20mm in the rear and a 5-10mm in the front.

stock 18" sport sedan wheels are 18x7.5 +45 so i'd go with a 15mm spacer all around, it'll sit nice and flush.

There shouldnt be any rubbing problems with a 235/45 or 245/40 tire with a z spring setup (1" drop).

With a 15mm spacer you'll have an effective offset of 30. Coupe 18's are 18x8 with a +30, so the sedan 18's with a +30 offset will be 5mm further in the fender well than the coupe 18's. I never had any rubbing problems with my coupe 18's with 245/40 tires and a Z spring drop.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys. I think I'm gonna take the plunge and drop in some 15mm spacers all around. I'll be sure to post some before/after pics once it's done, too.

make sure you put the longer wheel studs on -- i've seen way too many cars come in w/ broken wehel studs and spacers on.

No doubt. I'll probably go with one of the nicer kits (project kics, mebbe?) that include the longer studs as part of the package.

I have the Z Track wheels with 30 offset in front (33 in back on 8.5 wheel) and no rubbing. I would prefer a little less offset, but it still looks great.

Anyone have links to these kits?
