Need to modify?

Ok, Is everybody modifiying their G's? Isn't it snappy enough the way it is? Will I be happy buying and leaving as stock? I don't want to change anything because it effects engine longevity, possibly the warranty and resale. I'd never buy a used modified car.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Need to modify?

It's a hobby.

My old 5-spd '95 Maxima SE was heavily modified, and the miles were up over 180,000 when a truck hit and totaled the car. Despite occasional drag racing (on the track) it wasn't smoking or leaking. And I was getting over 30 mpg with it on the interstate. I took real good care of that car, and it ran great right up to its untimely end. What a car!

I'll own my G35 until the wheels drop off. When it dies, a Viking Funeral will help me say 'good-bye'. Until then, a little improvement here, and a little improvement there...

Re: Need to modify?

I had no plans to modify my G35 when I bought it. I knew nothing about mods and before purchasing the car would frankly have thought it sounded crazy.

But I found this and other forums and became an enthusiast. Enthusiasts view their car as an ongoing hobby and make modifications to their cars out of fun and, well, addiction

I've made something on the order of $10,000 (yikes!) in modifications to my car and yet, somehow, my list of things I still could do is endless.
