Sedan Greddy front end project begins
i'm getting excited to see how it looks all painted....
if i didn't have the built in fans for the IC on my TN kit i'd be straining really bad.
maybe i'll take a road trip to AZ and we'll work on my bumper next Tim.

At least you used the fans so it is getting a decent amount of air.

You could do one like mine, it would not be that hard.
Just take an existing intake tube (even one of the ebay ones) and add a few extra pieces of tubing, couplings, and a filter. You just have to cut a hole, trim the grille and bumper a little, and bend the A/C lines out of the way.

yeahhh
id like that alot better than having the air filter close to the ground from what i hear its possible to suck water up or something ..
the way it rains here sometimes it gets bad i live on the water ..
but if it rains or you might go through a car wash
does water get on the filter ??
eventually gettin sucked in as well .??

Nice Tim. In the second picture it looks as though the headlight is sticking out further than the bumper, is it the picture or does it actually stick out? Do you plan on fixing that if it does infact stick out?
Those two air intakes looming back there look great. Can't get over that. Never mind that huge IC.
What are all those boxes in the background? More car parts I assume?

It can get a little wet but not enough to hurt anything. My turbos will burn off any small amount of water that gets in.
You could use a filter guard to stop any direct water:

I think AEM made one for a while too.

Hi,
No the bumper does stick out past the light but it is also just sitting on there. I have to make some cutting and re-work to make it fit right.
That big box is the one that the front end came in. They sent it in a box for a full kit!
I love those filters too.

When I first got the AEM's I was going to try and put them on the stock Greddy intake tubes but my AMS radiator would not let the driver's side fit so after QuadCam sent me a nice site for Al pipe I decided to do that. Then I wished I would have gotten larger filters until a few weeks ago when I put my water/meth pump between them! It all works out in the end.
