Quick Nub Question About Tire Rotation

Hello everyone, I was wondering if IM going do do-it-myself, a tire rotation, should I try to get the sedan lifted all at one time? or should I just jack one side @ a time, because on my maxima I didn't mind jacking one side @ a time because it was old anyway, but it seems like it puts a lot of pressure and weight on the other two tires... and I wouldn't want anything to happen to my baby!

thanks in advance

It will be fine, it's like towing a car on two tires, no problem.

Like Mmagic said, its not bad for the car. Just be careful and don't use the scissor jack provided with the car. I use the spare to help with tire rotations. It is kind of a pain and probably adds 30 minutes to the job but I know I wont drop the car on a rotor.

I always did mine two at a time and used jack stands. That way you can go side to side or front to back without using the spare.

Now since I have directional staggered tires they have to come off the rims to rotate.

I actually used the scissor jack to get each side up high enough to remove both tires at once. I bought jack stands to do this, but they weren't needed (unless you want to do it safely).
