Hi,

I am new here , I am going to buy a 2003 G35 but I hate the interior of it. I hate the light wood trim in the black interior also the shift. The front seats also look or sit worse than 2005. I like the G so much except those above.
However 2005 G35 is out of my budget.

Is it prossible to swap the 2005 front seats center console and silver door trim to 2003?

Quick answer: Yes, maybe with a lot of money, and yes.

just buy an 05 the differance in cost would probably be very little buy an 03 for probably 15-16k spend a few g's on interior or find an 05 for 19-20k

 

He already stated that an 05 is out of his price range so what is the point in saying "just go buy an 05, its just a couple thousand more".

Anyway if you want to change the interior you could always go purchase a dash kit for $200 or so. Some people like them and some people say they look cheap. Here's the thread of a guy who got one.
In terms of changing the seats. I dont know anything about that but I'm sure its expensive.

 

Silver trim. It would be alot easier to swap the sport version bits to your 03 vs swapping all the 05 stuff.

Door trim. 05s are diff so you would have to swap the whole door panel. (If it's possible. I think it is). So again, look for the 03 sport versions. Alot easier to just swap the silver piece vs the whole thing.

Seats are "probably" swappable.

Just swap out the trim for the Titanium trim.

If you are going to change the seats, go for coupe seats.
