Angry Air Conditioner not working

My AC has just stopped working (6 months out of warranty. This is BS. I am taking the car in for service on Monday.

If the system has a leak or compressor has a problem, do you think I have a chance that Infiniti will pick up the bill on this?

Both the driver and passenger temp setting is at 60, AC light is on, but it just blows the outside air in without any cooling.

I just had my compressor replaced due to noise at 86k miles. That was $600 for the part and they installed it for free - hardly a bargain. I got a new condenser fan in the process since they originally thought that was the source of the noise.

Unfortunately "out of warranty" means just that. Not just Infiniti, all manufacturers. That's why extended warranties exist. Cars today are EXPENSIVE to fix. It's always a crap shoot. Don't need the warranty, feels like an expense for nothing. But if you need it, it's a godsend. Good Luck, I hope your problem is a small one.
