wow i just read all the new posts.... here's my line up

time of theft...
sat morning between 3am and 4:45am....

i learned the hard way for not having wheel locks and no upgraded alarm in the car w/ the exception of lo jack.

to make a long story short i left my car sitting in my complex parking lot w/ bricks on and a car cover on since they broke my window and i had no wheels

you think i would have the time to make crap up like this? it took me forever to find wheels i really liked on my sedan.
so i borrowed these '04 sedan wheels from work just so i can get it towed to the dealership and have my window and door frame repaired.
yes, i had gold paint sitting in my trunk for months and never got around painting them. took me 2 minutes to spray it on and that was that.

for all the people that have met and know me i'm the most real sales man but also a big car junkie and go out of my way for everyone. for the ones that are out lookin out for me i thank you too

 

Jeepers that sucks big time, hope you get everything straightened out.
You must be a very calm person cause if that happened to me, no way would I decide to paint my calipers at a time like that, I would be a wreck .

 

i'm a calm person... very stressed out ... i had to get wheels on yesterday finally after the geico adjuster came and i said hey ill paint hte calipers. i just watned to get my car fixed ASAP which it wont until monday. they have to actually order a whole new door skin b/c they bent the crap out of the window door pillar.

i did a ghetto job on the calipers -- got overspray all over the control arms in the rear

 

kenny any news on your investigation? what type of paper trail was left by the perp.

 

Sorry to hear that man. I still don't understand why people do $hit like that...the only words I can think of is "lowlife" and "jealous".

 

i can't post that up. but i think they came back again when the police were at my place doing a drive by.

Kenny, I've always liked your car and know that you are a great guy. Sorry to hear that this has happened to you. I hope there's justice out there coming for ya.

i appreciate everyone for the lookout. good thing is that these wheels won't fit a lot of cars and aren't too common. wheels are replaceable -- no one got hurt (yet) so that is all that matters. we don't pay high insurance premiums in NY for no reason. but i am fortunate to the guys on the forums here i talk to on a normal basis thanks for all the help

 

My car has been getting "frost" on it, i live in NY, the temps have gone down to >50, but i live on the water.

 

I surely didn't expect what I saw initially. Hope everything works. By the way, gotta love the gold calipers. Just did mine not too long ago.

 

my teammate let me borrow his wheels for the car show yesterday-- going to order my new wheels today... going black w/ chrome lip
