Somebody told me there was a recall for this....BUt basically radio is not working fully, cd player doesn't work any more, and the climate setting is fixated at 21 and I can't change it. I heard that I just have to replace a part. My car is a 2003, and dealer said recall had to be submitted two years ago...any ideas what is the fix? price?

Yeah I had this happen. It is the module that is between the radio and the controls. Get it fixed at Dealer was a warranty item..

 

Its the AC/Radio circuit board, had the same issue. Dealer will rape you for 700-900 bucks for new one and install, unless you have extended warrenty. If not look for a used Bose radio on ebay or in the Marketplace. Someone is always selling Bose radios because they upgraded to a DD kit. Used Bose radio should cost 200-300$ better than going to the dealer. Good luck
