G35X -- Buzzing Noise

Anyone else having any problems with the G35x. I bought my car a little over a week ago (Jan. 31). A few days later, I noticed a high pitched buzzing noise coming from under the car (I could not hear it inside the car) when the car was off. A week later, my car died. I jumped it and brought it to the dealer that Saturday. They recharged the battery but could not find anything wrong with it (I later found out that the service folks on Saturday only know how to change oil). The next day the car was dead again and could not be jumped. I had it towed to the dealer that Sunday. Dealer (Jim Coleman Infiniti) said that they believe the problem is the Body Control Module and have ordered a replacedment part, but that the part will not be in until Thursday or Friday. They said they do not understand why this part went bad in a brand new car.

Also, with respect to the Jim Coleman Infiniti's (Bethesda, MD): Horrible customer service!! They never called to let me know what was wrong with the car yesterday (ignoring my voicemail) and I had to call them today to find out what was wrong.

Re: G35X -- Buzzing Noise

Someone with a Subaru on a different board was complaining about something similar. Turns out that the security system buzzer/alarm had an issue where it would buzz at a very low volume all the time thus draining the battery.

This may not be your problem but I thought I'd throw it out as an idea.

Gosh, that sucks! Hope they fix the problem once and for all. Please keep us informed what the problem was and how Jim Coleman is doing...

So far, still nothing from Jim Coleman other than "part will be in at the end of the week. Goodbye."

Re: G35X -- Buzzing Noise

Not sure what this problem ever was, but Jim Coleman Infiniti gave me a new G35x last night (they could not figure out what was wrong with the car either).

I hear the same buzzin noise on my FX AWD. I think that might have something to do with the AWD system. Not sure though.....

They replaced it? Obviously there was something seriously wrong with the car then!

Re: G35X -- Buzzing Noise

They did replace it. They also said Infiniti Corp. may retrieve the car to study how a G35x with 150 miles on it stopped running.

Better luck with this one stockwatch, guess you just got a flaw from the factory, it happens, hope the new one is a color you like!
