you can either go with a full cat back exhaust (stillen or borla) or just the rear section (hks). i went with the hks rear section. nice deep tone and not too loud.

As others have said - you should check here:
https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust-23/

Stillen Gen-1 is a good choice IMO... Gen-2 is a bit (quite a bit) quieter, but originally it was reported as having a tad less gains... as with most mods you will get a wide variance of opinions… look up ¼ mile drag races (not ETs; times are futile as tracks vary – find G vs G)) and dyno numbers day of dyno (not dyno numbers generally as they will vary as well) G vs G same day same dyno.

The best advice to be had on this particular forum is base your mod plan from what you know. If you don’t know, read what others have done… IMO – don’t make the mistake of following theoretical, hypothetical, ideas of what would/could happen… there are some buffoons out here that will tell you another car does “ _ _ _ “ so your car will do “ _ _ _” I suggest you steer clear of those posts.

Just a friendly suggestion.

hmmm... from my experience and knowledge - HKS for a coupe seems to produce decent results... however, on a sedan it has been less than optimal.

Maybe I don’t know ****.

HKS for a sedan is only a muffler and not a cat back system.
