I finally got my car back from the shop today after 2 weeks. The body shop put the new bumper on and repainted the trunk (damage from me being rear ended)
I had requested that they drilled a hole and put a license plate light in.
(i had a light but it shined down on the ground instead of on the light because there was no hole for it to come out of.)
"no problem" according to him.
...2 weeks later....
The president of the shop had told me that 2 of my running lights and the license plate light weren't working and his computer traced it to find out that it's the BCM. He said the part was $325 and he would try to submit it into the insurance and tell them it was crash related....and he'll let me know how that goes on monday.
At the time I wasn't thinking and just wanted my car back so i said alright no big deal.
I get in my car tonight, on top of not having any rear lights until i step on the brakes, i have no lights on my a/c controls, radio, and clock.
Pissed.... to say the least.
