Unhappy totally lost when it comes to my car [2006 G35 sedan]

i never did pay attention when i should've ... and i'm trying to be a better car owner ... so a few questions if you don't mind ...

1. when should the oil be changed?
2. synthetic blend or full synthetic?
3. what brand should i get for the in cabin air filter? is it easy to replace or should i just take it to the dealership?
4. is rattling in the windows a problem for any one else?
5. my right driver's air vent doesn't rotate to the extent the others do ... i'm afraid to put pressure on it to try to fix it ... any suggestions?
6. lastly ... i guess it's the vents ... but near the floorboards .. while i'm driving ... my feet gets warm ... which is fine normally ... but recently it got ridiculous hot .. and i don't know what it is ... because nothing's on ... temperature wise .. except i think ... the circulation button light is on ... HELP!!! it's driving me nuts

First of all, read the manual. Seriously, cover to cover. You will learn a lot about your car, and how to take care of it!

If something doesn't seem right to you (rattles, vents, etc) take it to the dealer! Make full use of your warranty, you don't have to live with problems when they can be fixed for free

2. Full synthetic
1. change it every 4-5k depending how often u take it to redline
3. don't know
4. it is problem for many members, take it to the dealer and get on them about fixing it
5. dealers problem
6. press mode on the climate control area and lessen the temperature to whatever u want. Also u can press that "C" looking button for the outsite air NOT to come inside.

^ +1.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Read the manual! These are very basic questions which can be answered by reading the manual.

As long as your car is under warranty, document your concerns with the car and have them fixed by the dealer on Infiniti's dime.

1. when should the oil be changed? - Car comes with non-synthetic which should be changed every 3,000 - 3,500 miles.

2. synthetic blend or full synthetic? Switching to Full synthetic (Mobile 1, Amzoil, ROyal Purple) is prefered by most and change every 4,000-7,000miles.... or do a search and read the debates for hours.

3. what brand should i get for the in cabin air filter? is it easy to replace or should i just take it to the dealership? Completed with 60k service at dealership.

4. - 6. _ I have not clue as I don't have any of these issues

My opinion:
1. Oil should be changed 3,000-3,500 miles with conventional, or 4,000-6,000 miles with synthetic.
2. Infiniti designed the G35 to run on conventional (non-synthetic) oil, but some people prefer to switch to full synthetic. I use a synthetic blend because its a little less expensive.
3. You should purchase an aftermarket in-cabin filter such as FilterMaster https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/172682-cabin-air-filter-activated-carbon.html . It is very simple to replace, and only takes 10 minutes. Here is a video DIY that bythabay just made for the in-cabin filter
. I replace mine every 12 months.
4. The window rattle, and a bunch of other rattles, have been experienced by many owners. Take it to the dealer while you're under warranty still.
5. Take it to the dealer as well.
6. Hmm, don't know what to tell you about that one.
