Changed in cabin air filter-the mouse part 2

Ok...changed the in cabin air filter...and there was a hole in the filter where i assume a rodent ate through. Also there were some brown nugget things a little bigger than a skittle,,,looks like dog/cat food. Any ideas whats going on....has this little guy built a nest in my car? Would he be storing food in my car?

Sounds like something got in there. That place is a good nest spot if you can get in there. Keep your battery cover on and get the right side one too. If you have both there is no way to get to the filter. If you had the battery cover on he would have to go in over by the master cylinder and make his way over but it can be done.
