Took my 2005 G35X to the dealer to diagnose and address squeaking noises from the front end. Particularly noticeable at slow speeds during cold weather going over bumps or up/down inclines while cornering hard at slow speeds (like pulling out of my driveway in the morning).

I was expecting the compression rods like everyone else but... the dealer diagnosed the problem to be the steering rack... They ordered one and will replace under warranty.

Anyone else have this problem?

Well, if it's the steering rack, kudos to your dealer for the diagnosis. Just let them save face when it turns out to be compression rods afterall.
