Hello extreme glare!

There is a reason the lower lights don't come with HID's. The shape of the reflector creates a lot of glare for other drivers. Please don't be an @ss and use those on the highway.

Do it right and do a projector retrofit like I did.

Funny you say that because i was thinking the same thing on the way homefrom work tonight .

I Plan on putting a projector in there but now that i have the maxima bulbs and plug i think i need to find a projector it fits in. cause the maxima ones dont have a projector.

What did you get yours from and what bulb/ harness did you use ?

A non-projector OEM HID bulb (recent) will be a D2R. A projector is a D2S. All you need to do in order to put them in projectors is make a small notch in the base. You can also change the bulbs to D2S as the plug is the same for both. In other words, the plug is the same and there is only a small difference in the base between the D2R/D2S.

I have Honda S2000 projectors on the top and Acura TL projectors on the bottom. I used my oem HID ballast and ignitor on the S2000 and got another set for the TL. Both have D2S bulbs. For you to install a projector it would take work to retrofit the projector but the bulb part would be easy.

How did you bolt the projector in the housing ?

Also removing the headlight without removing the front bumper seemed almost impossible. is there a easier way ?

I had to make brackets to mout the projector and used bolts with nylon nuts and washers to aim them. The S2000 ones were hard because the projector is part of the headlight and you have to cut them up, then make new mounting holes.

You have to remove the front bumper cover to remove the headlights.
