Did anybody catch the diy network at 10:30 last night between the game. If you didnt, they installed a nitrous kit on a 05' or '06 G35 sedan. They went step by step through the process then ran the car with the bottle turned off and then on. In what I think was a 1/8 mile run, the car ran a 10.96 with the bottle off and 9.42 with it on. I never saw it before so I hope it wasnt a repeat.

 

9.4 is slow for 1/8 (Even without NOS)... 10+ is ridiculously slow!!!!

it was a repeat, and the show is called "tricked out". the host is a toolbag, and they do mosty stupid things that everyone on this board would call "rice". however, sometimes they do performance mods, and their step by step is pretty informative.

lol you can run 9.4s in the 1/8 mile stock...

 

I run 9.1 modded... LOTS of stock run WAY faster than high 10s!

 

10.9s stock My stock 03 5AT sedan was doing mid 9.2s. A 10.9 equates to a 16.5. I could put my wife in my car, not tell her what to do and I'm certain she'd run 14.6s.
