My 2004 G sedan driver window makes a "thunk" when closing about 1 in 20 times. Dealer says "has to do it here" But it wouldn't today. Service writer says "It may be the regulator but not bad enough to fix now". Any advice would be appreciated.

 

mine does the same thing, like a rattle, its only on the driver side and only when the window is down.

 

If it rattles when closing the door with the window down the regulator bolts are loose. If you don't fix it the bolts will come completely out & the regulator will scratch your tint.
