I went to start my car the other morning and noticed my Ebrake, VDC and Slip light were on and would not go off. This has been happening all week. Seems to be related to the cold weather considering it has been in the 20's at night and in the morning. This doesnt happen in the afternoon when I leave work....maybe cause its warmed up a little? Any ideas???

Check your brake fluid level, if it's low it can cause that.

I'm sure it's not the cold - I've driven mine at 35 below and never had that problem.

+1. Probably just coincidence.... Get it checked out. I doubt it's the weather--mine has never done that.

My car runs damn good at freezing but we hardly ever see that temp in my
neck of the woods. I seriously doubt if the freezing weather has anything to
do with your ebrake, have the stealership check it out. Keeping your car in
a garage will also eliminate any of the issues you think you're having.....

Your brake pads are probably severely worn.

dude i dont know about you but my car loves the cold weather lol, I gave a 12 second evo a run for his money from rolling lolol

My car has traditionally had the tire pressure light come on when very cold, like below 20, even when the tires had enough pressure. Some years, it also came on when > 95 and driving longer distances on the highway. But not last summer with over 3000 miles in the Utah/New Mexico deserts.

Its not the breaks guys. This happened to my G last winter. Took them 4 weeks to fix the damn thing. it was an ABS computer failure problem that cost the dealer a couple grand to fix (thank god for warranty)

Get it to your dealer pronto. Otherwise all your ABS and crap with go out and that includes your traction control

pads / fluid... check both...
