CAIs and Nismo Body Kit

Anybody have a cold air intake (CAI) with the Nismo (Factory Body kit)? I have the Injen intake and the Nismo front bumper. I'm looking at the way the bumper inserts (black) mount near the radiator and I think that there really isn't a good way to get cold air to the intake without doing some kind of modification (removing the black plastic inserts or drilling holes into them, etc.).

Has anyone done anything custom to get air flowing into the intake?

Hey, when I first got mine in I had the same thoughts and questions not thinking enough airflow would get in. i wanted to cut out a piece of the plastic but my car is leased, but many people said that it was designed around the bumper and gets enough airflow. It works great in my car with noticeable power in the higher rpms!!!! iLLG

Wat'ssss Realllyyyy Goooodddd!!!!!

I'd say that I have noticable sound at higher RPMs, but without a before/after dyno, I'd rather not leave anything to chance.

Anyone else out there with this configuration? Anyone done anything custom to help airflow?

Hey, if you want to do any cutting, I have a dremel tool and I'm pretty good with it. Just let me know.
