paint fading front to back would look better on the G than a vertical fade, vertical fades are more suited for bigger vehicles.

the only thing is that, i thik the flat black only looks good on heavily modded cars, ie. a stock sedan will look weird, but a heavily modded one wouldnt, i think a coupe with just a gialla grille and a drop wouldnt look to bad, but a totaly stock one will look off. any crazy photo shoppers out there who could do this, i would try but i dont have photoshop anymore, i need to download it.

Matte Black and Flat Black are actually a little different... the Flat Black look is retro to the old Rat Rods... for what ever reason people are doing it to modern imports... I think it looks like **** (JMO)... Rat Rods were built by hot rod enthusiasts that couldn’t afford much... the paint fell in line.

The OP wants to showcase his painter’s talents and abilities... Flat Black would not be the way to so that. Some people paint their entire car flat black with spray paint. That gives a very authentic rat rod look... not something you would want a quality painter doing to showcase his/her abilities...

just my .02

The flat seems to take away the class of the car - it gives it more of a Mad Max feel. Not really suited for the G.

I would have to go against the dark grey or anything similar as my car is DG. so I would want something different.

I am almost 98% convinced that it will be some form of Yellow...maybe a Lambo yellow with Pearls.
