Mine got DESTROYED a few weeks ago, so I bought a new one and got a new front bumper from a friend who didn't need his anymore.

Yeah, all of our cars can go that fast, especially if you are TT'd
Anyway back to the subject at hand. The part that ripped is between the radiator and bumper. I would just cut that part off. You really don't need it, that I can tell. The part behind that is what protects your engine. That is my suggestion though.
Here is a picture of what I mean.
Just cut it below the red line.

Mine has come off twice now and bent over backwards. It's fun laying in a parking lot trying to fasten it back up with a pair of pliers on a lowered car. Now I carry a small tool set. You could easily fix it yourself. Both times mine has come off was on the freeway at high speeds.

happened to me too, though only at 120kph, tore the clips right out of the bumper, luckily i had a length of powercable with me, laced it up till i got in for service (was scheduled a few days later).

had the one from the inner wheel well pop out on me too, that one's waiting to be reinstalled.
