I recently purchased this kit. After it got shipped over from Japan, it turned out to be fiberglass. The importer had originally said it was polyurethane; many other sources had mentioned that Impul only makes polyurethane kits. My concern is that the kit may be a replica. If anyone know for sure what the material of this kit is or knows any store/source where I can verify this, please help with a post! I spent over $900 on the front piece alone! Thanks.

Hmm.. I konw I-M-Racing.com sells this kit... they are way over priced..but not many people will import theese products..... You could give them a call and tell them your intrested in the product and see if they konw if its fiber of poly..

 

I don't know how to tell the difference between fake/genuine... but most aftermarket body kits are made of fiberglass.

 

if you have the kit, you should be able to check whether it's geniune or not. Check the bumper part to see if anywhere has the Impul imprints on it as well as the manufacture number. If it's for real, they will usually leave some distinctive mark on thier products. By the way, please post the pictures soon. I'd love to see the kit on a sedan. Thank you.
