Some times i feel like on this forum, Coupes are superior to sedans.

Do you think this is true? We can pretty much smoke coupes, but we dont ahve the 'sex appeal'

Wtf! why no love for the sedan?

 

maybe looks? or that there are more coupes?

id say one of those two...

 

coupes are sexy..sedans are sexy but Has a more Grown Appeal? lol i dont know..but im still in the 2 door car stage..i will soon own a 4 door not yet.=]

 

I think it's just because the coupes outnumber the sedans. I'm fine with that though, I like being part of the latter. Too many coupes...

The coupe right out of the box has crazy sex appeal. While the sedan takes some work. EXAMPLE 03-04 sedan >.>. The front bumper and the black plastic is just so wthhhh lol. However, with the 2nd gens Id take the sedan over the coupe looks sexier to me. Mostly because the 2nd gen coupe seems like its trying to stretch the design of the 1st gen a little longer, while the sedan is just sexy on its own for the first time. However, I do like driving the coupe more though when I test drove the g37 and the new g35. Just felt more me since I've always owned coupes. The sedan is sexy in its own ways too, you know what I find sexy being able to freaking open the backdoor and put my work bag on the rear seat, instead of reaching behind me from the front seat. Amazing how simple things can make the sedan so much more appealing.

 

Please do your research before making these claims. Stock for stock, or mod for mod, a sedan cannot "smoke" a Coupe. They are relatively the same, with the exception of the X, which is significantly heavier. Year for year, the 1st generation sedan is usually a little lighter than the 1st generation coupes, but its nothing too significant.
