350z sway bars WORTH IT ???

Im looking into getting some sway bars and from doing some searching i read that the 03-06 350z and G35 coupe and G 35 sedan are inter changable.

Some one correct me if im wrong, but is getting a 350z sway bar set F & R .
worth it? VS a say hotchicks or stillen ?

I remember when i had my BMW I had 325 sways and upgraded to 330i sways and it made a diffrence.

Not a perfect answer, but gives you after market sway bar specs. I'm not sure what the specs are on the stock ones. If I wasn't lazy I could measure the stock G35 ones I have in the garage.

I believe the 04.5-07 350z/G35 has stiffer front sway bar than previous years.

"G35sedan"

03-04 G35 sedan (sport and non sport suspension's
All group A car's have the following oem sway bar specs

but i think that 350z bars differ because ,

there is like 5 diffrent Z car trims and they might have diffrent size bars.

1. stock sport Z
2.Convertible Z
3. Track Edition Z
4. 350z S tune
5. Nismo Z

i do not know there sizes tho.

Sways vs Sedan

Unless you are tracking your sedan why would you need sway bars better
than OEMs that your car came with? Save your money and take the wife/kids
out to dinner!

Just get a set of Stillen or other aftermarket ones that can be adjusted. They are well worth the money!

I definitely noticed a big difference in body roll before and after installation of Stillen sways in my car. Huge improvement especially when taking a few twisties or fast corners but beware of the sticker price on Stillen products. I've seen a couple people on the forum though selling Stillen sways in the classifieds section for half the original price or more.

i just picked up a 04.5 350z complete suspension for $150 shipped

I asked if he had the sway bars and said he threw them away

oh well ,lowering it should help a bit lets see what happens , besides i need to see if the rear will clear my 245-45 -18 in the rear , i know the 225-45-18 up front clears.

Sway bars are a good improvement even if you don't track the car.

As far as I know, 350Z and G35 coupe sway bars will fit the sedan. I have Cobb Tuning sway bars on my sedan that were not advertised to fir the sedan.
