Question about center console 2005 auto sedan
Question about center console 2005 auto sedan
I have a 2005 Sedan Auto. The center console lid does not sit flush on the console. I noticed two small holes at the front corners of the armrest part of the console. Are there supposed to be small rubber bumpers/stoppers, to keep the lid from moving up and down once closed? I can take a picture to show you what I mean if needed.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I fixed it! I had some small rubber pieces that I cut and glued into the holes. I'll still request some from my dealer next time I'm there. NonAme, lift up your console, and check the corners that are closest to the dash (or ceiling now that the console is open). There will be small rubber bumpers that keep the console lid in contact with the lower portion of the console. The pieces should be about the size of a small pea.
Looks like this issue is a TSB:
