I did it!
I drove home in my 2003.5 Garnet Fire, Graphite, Premium, Sport and Aero tonight! What a sweet car! I am so stoked!
I bought from Chuck Hariss at MacPherson Infiniti in Tustin for $32,303 (sticker was $34,460). I recommend dealing with him as he is a pretty straight-foward and pleasant salesperson. You will know him by the baritone voice - he is a ringer for James Earl Jones.
I am finally official after shopping for 1.5 years for a new vehicle, and I THOUGHT I was sold on the Altima. I blame it on the auto shows. That is where I discovered the G, but man is it worth the extra $$!

It is still sinking in. It really hit me when I looked at it in the garage.
I'm ready to show it off at a meet sometime!

Re: YEAH!! It's Mine!!
Congrats BD! I almost bought the Garnet Fire myself, but the wife and a couple of friends convinced me otherwise.

Sometimes I wish I had gotten the Garnet Fire, but hey.... Desert Plat's a great color too!

Congrats again!

Re: YEAH!! It's Mine!!
Bone Daddy what a coincidence! I was in that very same dealership in June 2002. I spoke to the same guy. Really nice and super pleasant. I live in NY, I was out there visiting my brother who lives in Irvine. We went to the dealership looking at the I35. How about that! He introduced me to the G35, I initially thought it was too small for me (I'm 6'2" , 203 lbs.) Well , if I had not met that guy, I might be driving an
Acura TL-S.

Chuck is an example of a skilled salesman, who does not need to rely on lesser tactics to make a sale. His personality and salesman are what gets the job done. If I lived in CA I would have bought the car from him.

Good luck with your car it must be a Looker!

Enjoy it while you can. You'll be bummed when it comes time to make the first payment

Actually I put down such a large down, the payments are completely within the budget. This is one payment I will actually ENJOY making.
Chinee - I was looking at Desert Platinum as my first choice, but the Fire really lends itself to the lines of this car, IMO.
I talk to it and tell it how beautiful it is when I come and go from the garage...

Yo Dan,... don't remind me how sweet the Fire is!

And I talk to my G as well... that's okay for us G-guys, but if the car answers... time to seek professional help (I'll keep your Fire company in the meanwhile)
