15,000 Mile Service - Ripoff?
I just hit 15,000 mile on my 06 G35 Sedan. I called the service department about the service they offer and they want $335 for a service which seems to include LOF and then a bunch of things they "check" for you. Is this a ripoff? Should I just go to a local guy and get the LOF and have the tires rotated?
Thanks,
Chris

Looks like for the 15K service, only major items to do are oil change, replace cabin air filter, replace engine air filter, replace wipers and tire rotation. If you are mechanically inclined, you can do all of those items on your own without needing to take the car to the dealer. Oil change on the G is no different than oil change in any other car. There is a DIY thread somewhere in the forum for replacing the cabin air filter. Replacing the engine air filter and wipers do not need any explanation. Finally, you can opt to have your tires rotated at a Discount Tire store (if you have one in your local area) at no charge. Hope this info helps.
