Front-ended. Replaced radiator support, radiator, condenser, bumper (why I got a Nismo bumper with the car ) etc. but the cheapskate didn't replace the engine cover.

i am actually looking to find out if the Z tube/ pop charger combo would work on the VQ25 too

the only intake option i can find here is a HKS high flow intake that costs over 400USD

Does anyone know then if a Z Tube intake from the VQ35DE fit directly with the VQ25/30DD without modification by any chance?

the intake is so restrictive compared to our cars. The only place it sucks in air is the plastic cover in the middle of the hood.

you could probably punch out those plastic pins on the front of you intake box and cut the front of it. i dont have a pic of a 3.5 airbox, but the front of the airbox is cut out and allows more air in.

its actually called "power duct" on our 3.5s. you could probably benefit from a 3.5 airbox and z-tube.

here you go...

look closely on the right at the front of the airbox. ours is open and yours is not. an airbox swap or cutting the opening out of yours might help the car breath a bit better.

It's not hard at all. Just like installing most intakes.

Did that. You don't have to cut anything, and it takes 30 seconds to remove. Sounds heaps better too
