actually that was my car way back when the roof overlay first came out. I was just testing it to see how my car would look with the black top...i was basically the test mule for the sedans...lol.

The quality of the overlays are good, and the install by G35pinoy was excellent as well, but for me, i am very ****, since up close you can still tell that it is an overlay, so I took my car to the body shop and painted it mirror black finish. I had the roof overlay for a few months and no problems though.

i still have mine on and i did it myself, (car also DG). Although it was my first time doing this kind of stuff, the side that i actually did correct is still looking fresh. From a few feet away, you can barely notice the imperfections. its a good alternative for someone on a budget. Just gotta be sure to use a chaomis(chamie?) or an "absorber" cloth when drying it so make sure it maintains its mirror finish. You can also wax it, and it still looks good.

I'm also very **** about it bc its not that great looking since i messed up. I'm still hoping bluebat will give me a good replacement price for when i'm ready to buy a new one.

^^haha, nah, i only did the roof with "mirror black" instead of gloss black, its a big difference, way more shinier than gloss but cost alot more...the quote for gloss black was $300 and mirror finish was $450...hope that helps everyone that plans to paint the roof...if not then another alternative is definitely the overlays.
