I'm going to the dealer this week for warranty work and I'm making a punch list.

I was wondering if the window lock switch is backlit like the other switches on that panel (window switches and door lock). Mine is dark and it just doesn't seem right to have five switches illuminated and one not.

If someone gets a chance to look, i'd appreciate it.

 

It does not light up on my 03. Never really noticed that till now.

On a side note - I'd love a mod that backlights the controls on the steering wheel... I wonder if it's doable?

Seems like its normal even if it is a little strange. Thank you guys for the help although now i feel bad because none of you will be able to roll down your windows without noticing it.

 

It doesnt I called the dealer about that a long time ago and he didnt know and went a double check and told me it didnt on anything they had.

 

it's been done, all you need is parts from an 05+ g35 there is one on sale right now in the classifieds for $50. I wanted to do it, but got lazy and gave up. There is a DIY somewhere on the forum too.

like some of the other guys i never noticed, but then again the only time i locked my windows was when i tinted my windows.
